Amendment
In February 2026, a link to the Commissioning Responsibilities under the Care Act chapter of the Care Act 2014 Resource was added.
Commissioning, Care Placement and Quality Procedures include the processes and supporting requirements for arranging care and support services for people and carers with care and support needs, where those services are one of the following:
- Domiciliary care;
- Residential placements;
- Nursing placements;
- Supported living;
- Extra care;
- Respite.
Additionally, these procedures set out how Luton Council will quality assure the delivery of these services in line with the Care and Quality Commission Framework.
All these procedures and processes can be found in the Local Resource area or outside of this site.
